"Punishing the Jobless"

This refers to Paul Krugman's "Punishing the Jobless" in The New York Times of July 5, 2010.He laments therein the clueless and inability of some representatives of US Parliament to understand the advantage of extending the unemployment benefites in view of only partial recovery from the great recession and its comparative economics or opportunity costs.I too agree with his analysis.
