Rare Gesture of Muslim Friends

Place Hyderabad, --- normally the scene of communal disharmony between Hindus and Muslims. Two days ago one electrician (60 years) Bala Raju died leaving his wife Subatra and a daughter Revathi (18 years ) in Indiramma Nagar, a locality in Hyderabad city surrounded by Muslim families. Due to poverty the family was finding it difficult to bear the funeral expenses. Muslim neighbours arranged the funds, carried his dead body to the cremation ground and performed the rites as per the Hindu custom while the daughter lit the funeral pyre. Hats off to the Muslim brethren who came to the rescue of this poor Hindu worker in their vicinity. Humanity exists still in spite of hatred and enmity created by religious fanatics all around.
